After a 24 year career as a counselor for handicapped adults, Susan turned to oil painting.

She has studied with Connie Winters in Charlotte, NC, Elizabeth Bronson in McClellansville, SC, Guy Fairlamb in Georgetown, DC, and Gerald King of the Smithsonian National Museum of Art.
